Explanation

In the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (AWS CAF), the Platform Perspective focuses on the technical capabilities required to build and operate cloud solutions. The capabilities in the Platform Perspective include:

• Data Architecture - Designing and implementing data storage, processing, and management solutions
• Data Engineering - Building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure

These two capabilities are part of the Platform Perspective, while:

• Data Protection and Data Governance belong to the Security Perspective
• Data Science belongs to the Business Perspective

The AWS CAF organizes cloud adoption capabilities across six perspectives to provide a comprehensive approach to cloud transformation.
