In the AWS shared responsibility model, "security of the cloud" refers to AWS's responsibility to protect the infrastructure that runs all of the AWS Cloud services. This includes the hardware, software, networking, and facilities that run AWS Cloud services. AWS is responsible for protecting the global infrastructure that supports cloud operations.
